It was in 2020 when I passed out of NYSC, with no steady income flow, responsibilities and bills weren’t go to be told that when they came knocking, reality bit really hard.
I started out trying to produce and get my food product out with the paltry sum I was able to save during my service year,(this one is story for another day).
However, this could not be sustained as I didn’t have enough capital to push through.
After Covid, I got a job as a school teacher.
I loved my job, it was a passion for me, I could teach 24 hrs a day, 7 days in a week.
However, my take-home could not even take me to the bus STOP. Taking me home was mission impossible.
I started to look for ways to make ends meet. I got recommendations for being able to teach well and got engagements as a private lesson tutor after school every day.
What came in was peanuts compared to the pile of bills I had to foot plus the fact that the whole arrangement was truly hectic for me. I was doing so much with almost next to nothing to show for it.
Things continued this way until I came across a post about a lady who I found out was really grounded in all things Finance.
I followed her up and got convinced for the first time that people were really making cool cash legitimately on the internet, while I was spending so much time in the space without making a dime.
The narrative was about to change for me, I laser-focused and gleaned all I could about the online Business Model known as Affiliate Marketing.
A business where you don’t need to own a product, you don’t have to pay for delivery fee, you don’t need a Boss.
Fast forward to 2022, Affiliate marketing is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
I became a pro at it and I started teaching interested persons how to earn money online, using just their Mobile Phone.
I shared all that to point out that:

There ought to be this primal dissatisfaction that brews after being in a particular level for some time.
We just keep reaching for more, for higher.
However, if this dissatisfaction is triggered only when we see others attaining or becoming.
Then there lies a bigger problem that must first be dealt.
I hope this makes sense.

Success leaves Clues.
People who with their lives reaffirm for you that your dreams are attainable.
If you can access them personally, fine.
If not,
Get their books!
It is their mind you really need access to, to know how they think.
To glean from their wealth of experience or expertise as the case may be.
If it requires you to pay to learn or access them or what they have to offer.
Please do.
Do not hesitate, because the cost of knowledge is largely insignificant compared to the cost of ignorance.
What this does
is that it
shortens the learning curve for you.
Eliminates mistakes you are likely to make.
In fact, succeeding in that line of work, business, or facet of life becomes even more predictable with the right Mentors and Coaches.
Lastly, be ready to apply as you learn.
For this is where your winning lies.

Having multiple income streams is no longer just a smart move when it comes to wealth creation/building.
In today’s Nigeria, it is first a sure survival stance/move.

The goal(s) seem too big and there is no time left.
Break into small actionable steps for each day.
You’d draw your results and wins closer when you start now.
